Timing it before a big date

Count back from the date. The effect starts to show over several days, and full softening is typically visible within about 2 weeks, so booking at least that far ahead lets you see the finished result before the event. It also leaves room for a small bruise, which is possible, to fade. Small bumps where the needle went in usually settle quickly. Your consultation confirms what applies to you afterward, and your aftercare covers exercise, lying down and touching the area for the first day. If the date is close, tell us at your consultation and we will say plainly whether to wait.

How the softening shows up

The change is gradual. Across the following days the treated muscles relax, and lines that form when you frown or raise your brows start to look lighter until they reach their full softness. Your face still moves, only with less creasing, which keeps your expressions readable to the people you talk to. The result is temporary.
