What to expect

  1. A close look

    We examine the hollow, the skin, any puffiness and the color under your eyes in good light. That tells us whether the shadow comes from volume loss, which filler can help, or from something it will not.

  2. Planning the amount

    Under-eye treatment uses small quantities. We agree on the amount and placement and explain how the delicate skin here tends to react.

  3. Placement

    After cleansing, the filler is placed slowly in small amounts, and we check the result as we go.

  4. Aftercare

    You leave with aftercare instructions for the first few days, which may include cold compresses and sleeping with your head raised.

  • Will under-eye filler fix dark circles?

    It depends on the cause. Filler is designed to soften shadows created by a hollow. Dark circles from pigment, visible veins or puffy bags respond differently, and filler can make puffiness look worse. We identify the cause at your consultation and tell you honestly if filler is not the right fit.

  • What is recovery like after tear trough filler?

    Recovery varies, and we talk it through at your consultation. Because the skin below the eyes is so thin, swelling and bruising there are common, and they usually fade within one to two weeks. Leave that much time before photos, travel or a big occasion.

  • How does it compare with the PRF Under-Eye Treatment?

    Under-Eye Filler adds volume to a hollow, and the change shows soon after treatment. The PRF Under-Eye Treatment uses a concentrate made from your own blood and is designed to improve thin, crepey skin gradually. The two can be combined when both volume and skin quality need attention.

  • How long does under-eye filler last?

    It differs for everyone. The product, the amount placed and how your body breaks filler down all play a part. The tear trough also moves less than areas like the lips, which tends to help filler hold. Any touch-up is planned once you see how your result settles.
