The appointment in order

The visit starts with a short review of your skin, confirming the areas agreed at your consultation. A small vial of blood is then drawn from your arm, much like a routine blood test. The sample goes into a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of your blood. Topical numbing may be applied to the treatment areas beforehand. The PRP is then injected in small amounts across those areas with a fine needle. Before you leave, you receive aftercare instructions, and you can go back to most daily activities soon after.
