These treatments work on separate layers of the problem. Ask which of your concerns Microneedling can improve and which need something else. Ask how many sessions your plan involves and how far apart they sit, since that varies with the concern and how your skin responds. Ask whether a booster add-on would help your goal, and which one. Ask what to expect on the first days after a session, including sun protection while the skin heals. If you also want injectables, ask how everything will be sequenced. Finally, ask how progress will be reviewed, so you know when the plan might change.

Keep sessions well clear of the event, since mild redness and sensitivity usually last 1 to 3 days. Better still, begin the course early, because texture and tone continue improving for weeks after each session. Bring the date to your consultation, and the spacing can be arranged to finish in good time.
Calming skincare is applied and aftercare explained before you go home. Expect some redness and sensitivity at first, and keep the treated skin shielded from sunlight during healing. Once the redness settles, skin often looks fresher, and the bigger change builds gradually as new collagen forms.
